Full-time ₹16–22k/moThe heart of every classroom. Love for children required; we teach everything else at the academy.
Lead teacher
Full-time ₹24–32k/moRun your own classroom and mentor two didis. ECCE/NTT qualification or 3+ years with little ones.
Centre head
Full-time ₹40–55k/moOwn a centre end to end — team, parents, audits. Most of our heads grew into this role from teaching.

Things applicants ask us
I don't have a teaching degree. Can I apply?
For the didi role, yes — the academy teaches you everything, and we sponsor ECCE certification when you grow into lead teacher. Warmth can't be taught; the rest can.
I'm returning after a career break. Does that count against me?
A third of our didis joined after a break — usually raising their own children, which we consider highly relevant experience. The gap needs no explaining.
Is there an age limit?
No. Our youngest didi is 21, our most senior is 58 and children queue for her story time. Energy and patience matter; birth year doesn't.
Can my own child study at Growing Steps?
Yes — one free seat per staff member at your own centre, and 50% off for a second child. Many didis' children are two classrooms away from their mums.
